Nicole Masnicak (can be pronounced Mass-nih-kak; or take your chances of pronouncing Masničak if you’re feeling bold) is a writer based in Philadelphia. She has a BA in English from Boston University and is currently working toward her MFA in Creative Writing from Rosemont College, where she serves as an Editor at Rathalla Review.
The child of Czechoslovak immigrants, Nicole draws inspiration from her family and their friends. Much of her work revolves around the reasons people choose to leave – or stay in – the only place they’ve ever known.
